SkillsUSA2023
April 3, 2023
On Friday, March 31st , 48 Windham Tech students participated in Skills USA. We had participants in more than 15 different categories. (Not all categories are listed below.)
All students behaved impeccably from start to finish which made me realize that we do not give enough credit to our students. The team spirit was a joy to behold! Students congratulated each other when they were called to the stage as finalists (Top 6) and were elated if they placed (Top 3)!
I will share that, for some of our students it was the first time they were recognized at a major event and for others it was nothing less than heartbreak. Above all our students had a great experience regardless of their joy or sadness. This experience will start the preparation for their career and life.
